Kahyangan restaurant – Pullman Jakarta Indonesia Thamrin CBD
Kahyangan – on the top three floors of the Wisma Nusantara tower – is not just an excellent Japanese restaurant… In Jakarta, it’s an institution. People come from far and wide for Pullman’s outstanding service, superb city views and, of course, the unparalleled Shabu-Shabu and Teppanyaki.
An appropriate name for an iconic restaurant, Kahyangan means “heavenly realm” in Indonesian. First came the Shabu-Shabu restaurant on the 29th and 30th floors. Its Japanese hotpots were such a success that a Teppanyaki section soon opened a floor below.
Guests dine on premium quality meats – imported Wagyu, US Rib Eye and Kobe beef – as well as fresher-than-fresh fish and seasonal vegetables. The famous Ponzu sauce is a tangy favourite among regulars.
A number of private dining rooms make Kahyangan an excellent choice for entertaining business colleagues. The superb location, overlooking the National Monument, makes it a divine venue for special occasions.
